Mood Swings : Try to Insult Me

I went Christmas shopping today with my family, and for some reason, I started having MASSIVE mood swings! I was really, really, REALLY happy at the beginning of the day, but then I was texting one of my friends, and they just, I don't know, we were having this conversation, and it got a little confused, and then I tried to fix it and... well, it just seemed like he got irritated with me. It felt like he was insulting me for liking fashion or whatever. It doesn't help, I suppose, that this IS the guy I really like, but I just texted him again, and I'm going to pretend he didn't send that last text, because I'd like to stay friends with him; I'm not sure I'd be able to handle anything further with him though. I don't know. He's a bit... well, I don't know, he gets insulted kinda quickly, and that's just the opposite of me. Please TRY TO INSULT ME.

Anyways, I want to talk about fashion or something like it, so why don't I start wit...hmmm, my favorite designer collections in each of the four major Fashion capitals? Good, I'll start then. (I love how NO ONE reads this blog, and I still address an audience!)

First stop: New York City (Glamorous)

New York had a very nice, fresh feel for once. Actually, it's always has that fresh, fun, youthful air, but this season it had ENERGY. I loved Proenza Schouler's line; it made me feel like I had just gone through my grandparents attic, with all the stuff they saved from WWI and the like. Well, if my grandmother would actually have worn dresses that short, anyways. Marc Jacobs was one of my favorites too. His show was the most unique, controversially beautiful thing I have ever seen hit New Yorks Runways. His pieces...holy mother of god, FANTASTIC. My favorite look of his was his last look, which was meant to be his first, but hey, the show was backwards (genius!). It was the cape pea coat sort of thing but under it was this goregeous...I don't know, but if it was at all a gown, it's now one of my favorite pieces EVER. However, Marc wasn't my favorite, that title belongs to...

ANNA SUI

Honestly, what more could you want for Spring? I'll tell you: LESS. Anna didn't go insanely over innovative like some of the other designers this season. I say save the innovation for the fall; in Spring, I want simple, clean and fresh for Springtime.

Anyways, this post is way late and it's been sitting around forever, so I'm just going to add it unfinished.

It means something alright...

So what if it doesn't make sense? Those two entities are near and dear to me and I wouldn't give them up for a second. Not after this ridiculous website has forced me into signing up to it just to comment on Project Rungay (which is the best blog on this site. Honestly, nothing compares to it.) Then there was this and that and that and needing a blog to put fashion thoughts on, so I figured that this might as well benefit me somehow.

Hi, I'm Sam, and I want to be a fashion designer, because I see things in fashion that I just don't think most people get. I could possibly be very wrong in this assertion, but I'm entitled to a little vanity now and then, aren't I?

Hey, just thank your preffered dominant spiritual deity that I'm not emo.
